Jennifer Caine received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MFA in Painting from Boston University.  Her work includes paintings, prints, drawings, and artist books and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Recent solo exhibitions were held at the UMaine Museum of Art, Bangor, ME, CYNTHIA REEVES at MassMoca, North Adams, MA, Soprafina Gallery, Boston, MA, CoLab, Austin, TX, and The Painting Center, New York, NY.  Recent site-specific installations were completed in collaboration with artist Rachel Hellmann at the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA and the Christel de Haan Gallery at the University of Indianapolis. Other recent exhibition venues include the National Academy Museum, New York, NY; The Center for Book Arts, New York, NY; The Hunstville Museum of Art, Huntsville, AL; Big Medium, Austin, TX; 808 Gallery, Boston University, Boston, MA; FPAC Gallery, Boston, MA; Jewett Gallery, Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA; The Carillon Gallery, Tarrant County College, Fort Worth, TX; and The New York Studio School, New York, NY.

She is the recipient of many awards, including the Edward E. Elson Residency Award at the Addison Gallery of American Art and the Constantin Alajalov Award at Boston University. She was included in the book, 100 Boston Painters published by Schiffer Publishing.

She currently teaches at Dartmouth College. Before joining the faculty at Dartmouth, she taught at Boston University for five years, and she has been a visiting artist at many colleges including: Providence College, Providence, RI, Lyme Academy College of Art, Old Lyme, CT, and the Museum of Fine Arts School, Boston, MA. She is a member of the Boston Printmakers and the Center for Book Arts.
